Terms of use

These terms apply to the CallRecTz app and the Premium subscription, published by Avinoam Tzedek, Israel. By installing or using the app you accept them.

Your responsibility for recording

Laws on recording calls differ between countries and states. In Israel, a participant in a conversation may record it under the Secret Monitoring Law, 5739-1979. Other places may require the consent of everyone on the call, or notice to them. You alone are responsible for using the app lawfully wherever you and the other party are, and for how you store and use recordings.

No guarantee that every call is recorded

Recording depends on the phone model, Android version, battery settings and other apps. Calls may be missed or recorded only partly. Do not rely on the app as your only record of an important conversation. The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Premium

Premium is a yearly license sold by Avinoam Tzedek, with payment processed by Grow. A license key is for your own phones; you can move it to a new phone in the app. A key that is shared or resold may be revoked. When a license ends or is refunded, Premium features stop working, but recordings already made remain fully available. Cancellation and refunds are described in the cancellation and refunds policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to record conversations you are not a party to, to secretly monitor another person, or for any unlawful purpose. Do not resell license keys or try to bypass the license check.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost recordings or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the new version applies from its effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Contact: atzedek@gmail.com.
